Medicare rebates do not apply to assessments at Tay Psychology.

Psychologists do not prescribe medication in Australia. A referral to a psychiatrist can be arranged, who can assess suitability for medication, along with copies of your ADHD and Autism assessment reports to assist with your appointment.

Your comprehensive report, along with your additional supporting letter, will be co-signed by a clinical psychologist. A comprehensive assessment can form part of the supporting evidence for an NDIS application. Eligibility for the NDIS is determined by the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency)

All assessments are conducted online via telehealth. In-person (face-to-face) appointments are not currently offered.

Deciding whether to pursue a formal ADHD and/or Autism assessment is often a significant decision, especially given the time, energy, and finances involved. If you’ve been considering an assessment, there is usually a good reason to do so. Some people strongly identify with ADHD and/or Autistic traits and may feel comfortable self-identifying. This is a personal choice, and you do not need a formal assessment with a psychologist to say you are ADHD and/or autistic. If you decide to proceed with an assessment, we're here to support you. Refunds are not available for assessment services. Please ensure this is a suitable service for you before proceeding with a booking. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the appointment are non-refundable but can be credited toward a future appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the session are not permitted, and payment will not be refunded or credited.
